ESP Unit A1 - 2006 - 2006
ESP Unit A4 - 2007 - 2007

Project
status:

ESP Unit A1 - completed
ESP Unit A4 - completed

The Project characteristics:

The Contract consists of adaptation and rehabilitation of electrostatic precipitator on Unit A1 (210 MW) and reconstruction of electrostatic precipitators on Unit A4 (308,5MW) in TPP “Nikola Tesla” in Obrenovac.

The Project includes dissassembling of old equipment, design, procurement, installation and testing of new equipment and putting electrostatic precipitators' into operation.

Electrostatic precipitators characteristics
(ESP Unit A1):

equipment weight – 1150 t
no. of el.precipitators per plant – 2
no. of gas sections per el. precipitator – 4
no. of ash funnel per el. precipitator – 8
connected load – 1410 kVA
active height of electric field– 15 m

Electrostatic precipitators characteristics
(ESP Unit A4):

equipment weight – 1300t
no. of el.precipitators per plant – 2
no. of gas sections per el. precipitator – 4
no. of ash funnel per el. precipitator – 16
connected load – 1662 kVA
active height of electric field – 16 m

With the rehabilitation / reconstruction of electrostatic precipitators, the particles' emission arising as a product of lignite combustion process will be reduced to regulation's prescribed value of less than 50 mg/m3.
